I had not visited Coal Vines in some time went there for Pizza and Wine. The pizza was good, good wine selection and now they offer "Gluten Free' pizza- A big Plus in my book ! Love this place it's very cool atmosphere, met the Chief and he is going to increase menu selection and introduce a low calorie pizza, they do innovate Italian Food !

Provided by SuperpagesI've had Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix, Mozza in La, and Patsy's in Murray Hill. Those are all five star pizza joints. Coal Vines, IMO, is just a notch below them. I love their dough and their toppings, but I think its the little nuances that really make those top three rise slightly above. Good company, however, and the best pizza in Texas!

Service is great! Atmosphere is nice, but the place is a little crowded. The pizza was good but a little too much seasoning/salt.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat pizza and wine bar! I love the location in Uptown. Their menu is innovative and inventive. You certainly will see unique combinations used in pizzas and pastas. The restaurant is small and crowded. However, it is a nice place for a dinner date. The caesar salad and calamari are great. Also try their crab cake and tomato basil pizza. Coal Vines recently opened an additional location in nearby suburb, Southlake. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Provided by SuperpagesLoved the location and the food was great, but it is now June in Dallas and they had all the doors open. Combine that with the pizza ovens and its a veritable melt down in there. It's time to close it up and crank up the AC at least until the sun goes down! People, this is not San Diego!

Provided by SuperpagesCoal Vines is fairly new to Dallas, but what a welcome addition. The food is awesome and the environment is a lot of fun. A great place to meet up with friends.

Provided by SuperpagesAt Last, a relaxing social eatery that has great tasting food, fair prices and the wine is a plus, all in a perfect setting uptown.
