Konomi Japanese Steak & Sushi Bar

We chose this establishment to celebrate a family birthday dinner. We had a party of 14. As we were required to wait until all parties had arrived, the establishment was aware of the size of the party. Accommodations should have been made to seat us in a manner we could be comfortable and enjoy the "show". That is one of the main reasons people choose japanese cuisine, for the ambience. We had one chef, so half of the party viewed his back, not his talents. The waitress/hostess was less than hospitable with her insistence that we could only take so many spaces at the table. This was not a busy night nor was the place packed to the point of it being an issue of turning customers away if we took an extra seat or two. We had one lady on crutches, and no effort was made to accomodate her comfort. The chef was good, however, the hostess could improve her customer service skills. We will go to Hoover for Japanese cuisine in the future.
